Return Policy & Additional Shipping Information

Your satisfaction is our goal.

If a product you purchase fails to meet your needs, please review the information below and return it to us within 14 days of receipt, and we will be pleased to arrange an exchange or refund.

Please note that some items may not be returnable. Electronics are non-returnable. Returns must be in a “new” resalable condition, SmallBoxincluding all manuals, components and accessories, and in the manufacturer’s original packaging. Returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Refunds for orders purchased with a major credit card, on open account or with PayPal, will be issued to the original payment method.

Non-qualified and non-conforming returns are not included in Food Equipment, Inc.’s return policy and, if returned, may be refused by our returns department. You must have proof the product was ordered from us.

All returned products will be thoroughly inspected and a determination will be made if eligibility and conforming requirements are met. Please verify the product you are returning meets the below guidelines and qualifies for return to avoid any delay in, or denial of, processing your return. Return processing may take up to 5 business days from the time your product is received.

  • Products must be in the original manufacturers packaging, and shipped securely.
  • Products must be complete with any standard certification labels (UL listing, capacity, brand name, UPC code) originally placed and not tampered with.
  • Product serial number, or any similar identification numbers, must match the serial number on the package or invoice (Food Equipment, Inc. maintains serial number tracking).
  • Products must be free from damage of any type, including, but not limited to dents, scratches, cracks, abuse, defacement or indication of removed screws/fasteners or seals.
  • Products so labeled with a security seal, must have the seal intact and not tampered with.


Returns will not be accepted without a valid Return Authorization Number (RA). Unless otherwise specified in the item listing on our website or in our Return policy, you may request a Return Authorization Number (RA) within 4 days of the original purchase date. RA numbers expire after 10 days, but we encourage you to return the product as soon possible. Any return we receive without a valid RA number will be documented and rejected or subject to an additional 30% restocking fee. Click here to request a Return Authorization Number (RA).

For your protection, we recommend that you insure your return and use a traceable carrier that can provide you with delivery confirmation. Food Equipment, Inc. shall not be responsible for items returned that are lost or damaged in transit. Postage and handling charges, both to and from our warehouse will be paid by the customer, and are non-refundable. At our discretion, Food Equipment, Inc. may reimburse shipping charges related to the return or exchange of defective products inside the U.S. only.

In the event that the product you are returning does NOT meet the requirements described in this document, we will photograph the merchandise and packaging, and prepare a detailed summary of our determination as to why the return was denied, the product(s) will be deemed not eligible for return and may be returned to you. A handling fee of 10% plus shipping must be prepaid before the item ships back to you.

Note: Some products or equipment are subject to have a ‘no-return’ policy or will be subject to different conditions than listed here. These notes will be written onto your invoice at time of shipping and/or will be discussed by email or phone prior to purchase. Saw blades must have the wrapper still intact. Electronics are non-returnable.





Short shipments and damaged parts (not damaged during transit) should be reported immediately after package receipt.  After this time period, Food Equipment, Inc. cannot be responsible.

In the event of damage during transit you are responsible for notifying the carrier immediately and file all the appropriate claim forms with the carrier, as per their requirements.



New items carry the full warranty of the manufacturer.  Any liability claim will be limited to the purchase price.  Shipping charges are not covered.  Food Equipment, Inc. assumes no obligation on the part of any manufacturer except to process warranty claims to the manufacturer on behalf of our customers.  Individual manufacturer’s warranty policies will be provided upon request.
Refurbished items carry a 90 days parts & labor only warranty. Items sold out of Food Equipment, Inc. service area, must be returned for repair, at purchasers expense, to Food Equipment, Inc.
Used items are sold “As Is” with no given warranty or liability.
Limitation of Liability/Disclaimer of Warranties. Under no circumstances, including, but not limited to negligence, shall Food Equipment, Inc. be responsible or liable for any expenses, losses, claims, costs or damages, including, without limitation, direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, new, used or refurbished equipment.
The buyers are solely responsible for the merchandise purchased through Food Equipment, Inc. Buyers assume all risk and liability arising from their purchase of any item.
Liability: Limited to parts & labor, not liable for downtime or loss of income.

Commercial Use: No warranty is offered to consumers, as defined in the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.  All items sold are intended for resale, business use, or equipment manufacture and warranted against defects in workmanship or materials only to the extent of the warranty supplied by the manufacturer.

Illustrations & Descriptions: Illustrations and descriptions are provided for identification purposes.  Food Equipment, Inc. takes no responsibility that an item will suit a specific purpose.



Non-Inventory Items:

  • Non-inventory items are non-returnable and non-cancellable.




Occasionally we will temporarily run out of stock of an item due to high demand. If this is ever the case for an item you ordered, we will send you an out-of-stock e-mail within 24 business hours. If you have a time-constraint on your order please respond to the e-mail and our Order Support team will work on a solution for you! You can also feel free to contact a Customer Solutions Specialist to check stock on the items you’re purchasing before your order is placed to ensure availability.

Canceling/Modifying an Order

Please contact us immediately if you would like to cancel an order! If an order is already processing in our warehouse and being packed to ship, we cannot guarantee that the order can be canceled. In order to maintain accuracy and efficiency in our order process, we are unable to alter any orders after they have been placed. If you would like to add to or modify your order in any way, please contact a Customer Solutions Specialist to cancel the order so you can reorder exactly what you need!

Our warehouse works on the weekends to package orders up so they are ready for shipment on Monday morning. Although we do not ship on the weekends, if an order is packaged to ship over a weekend and billed out, the order is not able to be canceled.

If we cannot cancel an order because it has already shipped from our warehouse, please see our returns procedures.

Information Collection & Use

Food Equipment, Inc. is the sole owner of the information that is collected from customers on this site. We do not share any information about you with third parties in any way. Customer information is used by Food Equipment, Inc. to:

  • Process orders
  • Provide a personalized shopping experience for registered customers
  • Send e-mail newsletters full of specials and helpful information to those who opt to receive them
  • Monitor traffic patterns to improve our site’s functionality and user-friendliness

Color Policy

Our Images Department makes every effort to portray the color of an item as accurately as possible on our site. However, the color of an item may appear differently according to the settings on your monitor. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the color displayed on your monitor.

We strive to provide the most accurate images of our products as possible. However, despite our best efforts, some product images supplies_image2prove difficult or impossible to obtain. In these cases, we will use the closest representative image we can find for the product. These representative, illustrative images may show optional accessories or features, or may be an image of a similar product.

Therefore, we recommend that you carefully read the product description and other related product literature such as Specification Sheets, MSDS Sheets, etc., before placing your order. If you have any questions or concerns about a product even after reading the description and product literature, please contact us.
